This is a reminder that the deadline to apply for the HERO Act military service credit buyback is rapidly approaching. To ensure timely processing, please submit your completed application as soon as possible.
Under the HERO Act, eligible veterans have a one-time opportunity to purchase up to four years of creditable military service. The final deadline to enter into an agreement or initiate a payment plan is August 8, 2025.
